Exploding Barrel Games is seeking Project Management rockstars to work closely with our design, engineering, art and leadership teams for upcoming iPad and social gaming projects.
THE COMPANY
Exploding Barrel Games was founded in 2009 and is located in the Yaletown area of Vancouver, B.C. EBG started operations in early 2010 led by 6 AAA console game development veterans with a combined 75+ years of industry experience. Today we have grown to 25 employees and are close to releasing our second title Margaritaville on Facebook, iPhone and iPad. We are independent, self-funded and like to work hard and have fun doing it. We have a high commitment to quality and creativity and are looking to grow to take on new challenges – including continuing to invest in our own IP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the successful delivery of games, on time and within budget for both established and original IP;
- Drive the pre-pro process in conjunction with discipline leads via detailed analysis of scope of work, project estimates & schedule creationt;
- Monitor the team's progress against the overall schedule as well as map and communicate weekly goals and deliverables;
- Prioritize production deadlines and manage risks;
- Ensure effective communication across teams;
- Motivate, monitor performance and provide support, across disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ Years of game production experience;
- 3+ Years of project management or development direction;
- Experience using Agile;
- Experience with MS Office suite and similar productivity tools;
- Demonstrated production leadership through numerous product cycles;
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple teams and/or projects;
